MB Contractors was chosen to provide preconstruction and construction services to support Woodland Hills, a new senior living project in Roanoke, Virginia. This project consists of a 98 unit community with 68 assisted living units and 30 memory care units. The 83,445 square foot, four-story building, with high-end finishes, consists of slab on grade concrete, EPDM and shingle roof systems, metal stud framing, gypsum walls, storefront windows, and backup generators. There are fire doors for each elevator, air and water infiltration barriers, and security access control. Site work consists of block retaining walls, bio-retention systems, and asphalt parking. Finishes include wood paneling, carpet, and ceramic tile. Other amenities include balconies, recreational areas, indoor courtyard, and a fire place in the lobby.
