The Sessions Hotel is a Marriott Bonvoy Tribute branded historic boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Bristol, Virginia situated on State Street.
The 74,791 square foot, multi-building, historic renovation utilized both state and federal historic tax credits to revitalize classic architecture of downtown Bristol. The renovation consisted of restoring the Bristol Grocery Building (built 1915), Jobbers Candy Factory (built 1920), and Service Mill (built 1922). The Sessions Hotel is a boutique hotel, consisting of 70 luxury boutique guest rooms, a restaurant, banquet space, rooftop bar and patio, outdoor dining and music venue and full service spa.
MB Contractors participated in the pre-design planning with the architect and the owner’s project planning participants. We developed the initial budgets to verify project cost projections and later provided a guaranteed maximum price prior to starting construction of the project.
