The Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab at LewisGale Medical Center is a 1,015 square foot renovation of an existing radiology lab and equipment room located in the Radiology
wing. Renovations include new electrical and cosmetic upgrades to support GE Discovery IGS imaging equipment, monitoring station, and an equipment room. The equipment room contains specialty power cabinets, as well as chiller and temperature control units to manage the immense heat created by imaging equipment. Adjacent on-going operations in the IR Lab were not disturbed during this project.
