The new 15,000 square foot Family Life Center at Enoch Baptist Church is the result of a partnership with a local Episcopal church, and will increase their after-school community programs from 50 children, to over 200, via a mixed activity/classroom environment. The new building consists of a full size commercial kitchen, a 6,700 square foot multi-purpose gymnasium, and almost 5,000 square foot of learning space split among 11 classrooms. Building construction consists of slab on grade concrete with CMU walls and structural steel. Interior finishes include architectural wood casework, gypsum walls, acoustical ceiling tiles, and VCT flooring. Extensive site work included extending existing utilities and a new parking lot.
