Elmwood Park Design Going Viral?

MB Contractors, Inc. proudly took the stage last month with Roanoke City Council Members to cut the ribbon for the reopening of our City’s ‘Darling Elmwood’ Park.  People came out in droves to witness the first performance on the world-class amphitheatre stage.  MB Contractors set up a ‘paparazzi wall’ for the public to get their picture taken, and several family friendly activities popped up for children to enjoy; face painting and a bouncehouse!

Many media sources also showed up to present the story of the renovated park to interested audiences. Little did any of us know that the story would catch the attention of landscape architects and designers across the country. The stories and ideas of Elmwood Park have been picked up by newspapers in Olathe (Kansas), Danbury (Connecticut), Seattle, San Francisco, and several cities in Indiana.  There’s a good chance the ‘Darling Park’ redesign may be goin viral!
